Season 7 (2026-27)
Updated: April 2026
Proper attire is a mandatory safety requirement at Lift Acro Evolution. Form-fitting clothing is essential in an dance, aerial and acro environment for safety and to ensure instructors can clearly see body alignment to provide appropriate technical corrections. By following the dress code, students ensure their own safety and allow our coaches to provide the highest level of instruction.
If an instructor deems attire strictly unsafe, the student will not be permitted to participate in that class, and a note will be sent home.
For other dress code violations, a warning note will be issued. If the attire is not rectified by the following week of class, the student will be asked to observe class rather than participate until the correct dress code is met.
All required items are available in the Lift Acro Evolution store.

To participate in any Showcase or Competition, student accounts must be paid in full. Students with an outstanding balance at the time of the performance will not be permitted to take the stage.
All clients must have a credit card on file for automatic monthly payments.
Costume & Tuition Fees are posted to all accounts on the 1st date of each month.
The studio reserves the right to remove students from class if the account is not paid up-to-date.
If an account remains in arrears, the studio reserves the right to refer the outstanding balance to a collections agency. This may impact the account holder’s credit history.
Missed Classes are non-refundable.
Regular attendance is strongly encouraged for all recreational students to support skill development and safe participation in class.
Students who miss a significant number of classes may not be eligible to participate in the showcase. This decision will be made at the discretion of the instructor and studio management, based on attendance, preparedness, and overall readiness.
If a student is not permitted to participate in the showcase for this reason, no refunds will be issued.
Competitive students are expected to attend all scheduled classes. This includes both technique classes and choreography classes.
The studio reserves the right to remove a student from a competitive routine for students who miss a significant number of classes. This decision will be made at the discretion of the instructor and studio management, based on attendance, preparedness, and overall readiness. If a student is removed from a routine for this reason, registration, competition, tuition and costume fees are non-refundable.
If a student misses a class, it is the student’s responsibility to find out what was missed and be prepared for the next class.
Our studio does not organize or require student-run fundraising as part of our programming.
From time to time, some parents may choose to organize independent fundraising initiatives to support their group. These activities are parent-led and organized separately from the studio.
If you are interested in participating in or learning more about any fundraising efforts, please speak directly with the parent group involved.
Parents must receive approval from the studio management prior to using our name or logo with any fundraising initiatives.
We will send an email update by 2:00 PM if classes are cancelled.
If you don’t hear from us, classes are running as scheduled — no news is good news!
There are no refunds for cancellations due to weather, however we will do our best to reschedule.
Competitive programming at Lift Acro Evolution is designed for students who are ready for a higher level of commitment and faster-paced skill development.
Not all students who wish to participate in competitive programming will be offered a placement. Competitive team invitations are extended at the discretion of the studio and are based on a combination of factors, including (but not limited to): effort, work ethic, attitude, attendance, skill level, ability, and overall readiness.
Being part of a Competitive Team requires a strong commitment to classes, rehearsals, and performances, as well as a willingness to work hard both in and outside of the studio. Supportive and reliable parent/guardian involvement is also an important part of the competitive experience.
We understand that social media is commonplace. Parents and guests are welcome to take pictures or videos of the students' progress in class with the instructor’s permission. We love to celebrate new skills and achievements. Parents and students are not permitted to post choreography, portions of the class such as warm ups, drills, and exercises or other information that may compromise our studio. You may ask to record sections of the class as a learning tool at home, but posting on social media of these items is strictly prohibited.
Parents and students are not permitted to speak on behalf of our studio. We do, however, encourage you to share our posted information to make all our events a success, and these gestures are very much appreciated. Parents and students are not permitted to create social accounts with any reference to our facility or company name.
All communication should go through our office. Direct communication with teachers should be avoided.
If there are matters that you wish to bring up, or see changed, please bring these to the attention of the studio management ONLY. Our instructors are not able to change the company policy nor are they involved in the decision making of these policies. Their time and energy is to be focused on running quality classes, not resolving issues.
Our studio does not allow use of our logo without direct permission from the studio management.
All trophies, banners, and plaques earned at competitions are property of the studio and will be displayed on our trophy shelf.
This policy does not apply to individual ribbons, medals, or similar items — those are yours to keep!
Students may withdraw from our programming at any time up to September 30th 2026. This time period is known as the ‘trial period’. If you withdraw by this date, you will not be billed for any future months. Any fees already billed are non-refundable.
For all withdrawals made after September 30th, 2026, parents or guardians are required to submit an official Class Drop Form at least 14 days prior to the next billing cycle to prevent further charges. Please note that all billed fees are strictly non-refundable; if the 14-day notice period is not met, the subsequent month’s fees will be charged in full upon submission of the withdrawal form. To ensure successful cancellation, this written form must be processed through the office, as verbal notification to instructors or staff is not considered a formal withdrawal.
Withdrawal will not be accepted by any other means than the class drop form. It is the responsibility of the parent to request this form from the office and fill it out in time.
Solos: Cash awards for solo routines will be applied as a credit to the student’s account for the following season. If the student does not return the next season, the award is forfeited to the studio.
Duets/Trios: Cash awards for duets and trios will be divided between the participating students and credited to their accounts. The same forfeiture policy applies if a student does not return.
Groups: Cash awards earned by groups are retained by the studio and used to support group activities and events.
Choreography Awards: Choreography cash awards are split 50/50 between the studio and the teacher who choreographed the routine.
Parents and guardians are welcome to wait in the waiting area during their child’s class. However, please be mindful of the capacity of the space. If the lobby becomes overcrowded, we kindly ask that you drop off your dancer and return at the end of their session to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. This space is for the dancers first.
Due to the size of our waiting area, we highly recommend drop-off/pick-up only, as opposed to waiting.
Do not drop off your child more than 15 minutes before class.
IMPORTANT: Parents and other family members are not permitted in the training area unless invited by the instructor.
Loud noises and talking in the lobby can be highly distracting to students and instructors.
- Indoor Voices: Please maintain a conversational volume at most.
- Zero Tolerance for Disruptions: Screaming, yelling, or boisterous play is not permitted.
- Electronic Devices: Please use headphones when watching videos or playing games on mobile devices. If you must take a phone call, please step outside.
As a youth-focused organization, we maintain a "family-first" atmosphere.
- Content: All conversations must be age-appropriate for children. Please refrain from using profanity or discussing sensitive adult topics in the presence of students.
- Professionalism: We encourage a positive environment. Please refrain from discussing "studio drama" or the progress of other students in the common areas.
Supervision of Other Family Members
- Siblings: For their safety, siblings of students must be supervised by an adult at all times. They are expected to follow the same noise and behavior rules as our students and parents.
- Safety: Running, climbing on furniture, or wandering into studios is strictly prohibited.
Cleanliness & Personal Belongings
- Tidiness: Please pick up any trash, water bottles, or snack wrappers before leaving.
- Walkways: Keep aisles and doorways clear of dance bags, strollers, and coats to ensure a safe exit in case of an emergency.
- Please use the shoe racks to store boots/shoes, etc.
Failure to adhere to lobby etiquette may result in a request to wait outside the facility during class times.
Lift Acro Evolution is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items/equipment.
Students with injuries, including concussion are not permitted to participate in classes until they have permission by their family doctor, or healthcare professional. Failure to inform Lift Acro Evolution of any injury that may put the students’ well being at risk will result in termination of their enrolment. Students with injuries (excluding concussion) are still invited to attend their classes and make note of any new exercises that have been introduced so they do not fall behind, but are not required to perform the skills.
To allow for the students to fully participate and focus, parents must sit in the waiting area this season, not in the classroom.
We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for bullying, physical harm, and intentional property damage. Removal will be immediate, no compensation will be given.
Outdoor footwear is not permitted inside the training area. Students must use the provided space for shoes away from the entrance to comply with Provincial Fire Regulations. For classes that require shoes, only clean indoor shoes are permitted. If the shoe looks like it has been worn outdoors, instructors reserve the right to ask for their removal. This is to protect the students that train barefoot and use the floor for hand-balancing and acrobatics.
Lift Acro Evolution is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items/equipment. Leaving your items at the facility is at your own risk. Please write the students name on all their belongings.
At Lift Acro Evolution, we are committed to providing an environment where every student can thrive.
To ensure students are placed appropriately for their safety and optimal skill development, we reserve the right to move a student to a different class if our instructors and management believe it would better support their progress.
Additionally, we strive to maintain a vibrant learning atmosphere and reserve the right to combine or cancel classes due to low enrollment.
Please note that the class schedule and studio calendar remain subject to change at the sole discretion of management to best serve our community and the integrity of our programs.
To help keep classes focused, safe, and distraction-free, cell phones are not permitted in classrooms.
Students may have and use their phones only in the waiting area before or after class. Phones must be turned off or kept in bags during class time.
If a student needs their phone for an emergency, they should speak with their instructor before class.
Our competitive program represents the highest level of commitment at Lift Acro Evolution. Competitive students are leaders within the studio and are expected to demonstrate respect, accountability, and a strong work ethic at all times.
We do not tolerate negative attitudes, disrespectful behaviour, or talking back to coaches. Competitive students are expected to come to class prepared, focused, and ready to contribute positively to the team environment.
If a student’s behaviour does not meet these expectations, Lift Acro Evolution reserves the right to remove that student from part or all of their competitive routines. This decision will be made at the discretion of the coaching team and studio leadership.
No refunds will be issued if a student is removed from any competitive routine due to behaviour.
Competitive routines (in particular, special offers such as solos, duets, trios) must meet a standard of cleanliness, technique, and overall performance quality before being presented on stage.
If a routine is not adequately prepared, not clean, or not meeting expectations, Lift Acro Evolution reserves the right to:
- Pull the routine from competition
- Remove the routine from Showcase
- Adjust groupings, choreography, or participation as needed
These decisions are made in the best interest of the dancers, the team, and the studio as a whole.
Our goal is to ensure that every performance reflects the level of excellence we are working toward.
We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or returns for costumes that do not fit 100% perfectly. Minor adjustments or "tweak" alterations (such as pinning or slight hemming) are the responsibility of the parent.
A Note on Costume Design:
The costume is a vital extension of the choreography and the instructor's creative vision. To maintain the artistic integrity of the performance, all costume selections are made exclusively by the instructors.
We understand that personal style varies; however, parents and students do not have input on the design, color, or style of the selected costume. By enrolling in the program, you agree to support the teacher’s vision for the dance, which includes the chosen stage attire. Changes or substitutions will not be permitted.
Costume Care & Event Day Responsibility
Once a costume has been distributed, it is the parent’s responsibility to ensure it remains in performance-ready condition. Please keep the following in mind:
Maintenance: Costumes should be kept in a clean, smoke-free, and pet-free environment. We recommend hanging the costume immediately upon arrival at home to prevent wrinkling or damage.
Condition: Any stains, tears, or damage occurring after distribution are the responsibility of the parent. The studio is not responsible for replacing lost or damaged costume pieces.
Transportation: It is the parent’s sole responsibility to ensure that the full costume (including all accessories, headpieces, and tights) arrives at the performance venue on time. The studio does not carry spares, and students may not be permitted to perform if their costume is missing or incomplete.
